The berthing structure is based on earth retainingstructure of diaphragm wall duly held in position with anchor wall with interconnecting tie rods.

  Berth structure 300m long & 40m wide to accommodate up to 85000 DWT vessels. The workinvolved rock bund approach & reclamation engineering works.

  Design and construction of Iron Ore – Berth 271m long & 24.5m wide, approach Jetty 130m long and9m wide, back up area of 13.5 hectares, Iron ore stock yard, stacker foundation and wagon tipplerhouse, associated cut and cover tunnels with utility buildings and road work.
