Maritime Structures

ITD Cem is leading the field in Maritime Structures contracting and have worked in all the major ports and majority of the minor ports of the country. In Chennai, Ennore, Haldia, Kakinada, Kandla, Pipavav, Dahej, Mormugoa, Karwar, Mumbai Nhava Sheva, Paradip, Tuticorin and Visakhapatnam, the Company has built jetties for handling liquid and solid cargo, berths, wharfs and quays for handling general cargo/containers. Dedicated jetties, product handling terminals. Ship repair and ship building facilities are also part of the Company’s portfolio and it works for both Public and Private and Defence organisations.

ITD Cem has the experience, capability and equipment to provide quality workmanship on a variety of Maritime Structures including Engineering, Procurement and Construction Services.

  • Construction of Jetties, Dolphins and Service Platforms

  • REFIT JETTY AND ALLIED FACILITIES AT PORT BLAIR

    145m Refit Jetty, 1200 mm dia BCIS Piles, 8.5m Dregding, Yard Refit complex building, Ship support complex building, Storm drain along with security wall, Fire water Pump house, Earth Retaining structure, power house and pump house, Mechanical / electrical works for the facility to enable the firefighting, potable water system and general electrical supply to the refit jetty

  • LIQUID CUM LPG JETTY AT KRISHNAPATNAM PORT

    Design and Construction of LPG Jetty with following facilities Serviced Platform, Mooring Dolphin (4 No’s – 17.4mx17.4m), Breasting Dolphin 135.6 x 19.5m, Approach Trestle 111.5m Long, Walkway Support (3 nos), Morring Dolphin with FFS Platform, Rock Protection and LPG Jetty


  • BMCT- DREDGING AND RECLAMATION WORKS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF 4th CONTAINER TERMINAL IN JAWAHARLAL NEHRU PORT (JNP)-PHASE-1

    Design & Build Contract for Dredging (soft and hard material) 9 Million cum, Reclamation of 90 Ha, Earthworks,ground improvement with PVD, excavation and leveling, disposal of marine clay, protection to existing features, exiting road and existing Railine, and supply & installation of navigational aids.

  • Civil Works for the Approach & Jetty for the Development of Dry Bulk Terminal at Tuna, Kandla

    Construction of Off shore Jetty Size 600m x 60m with Approach Bridge of 2000m x18m. Jetty is equipped with Bulk Handling System to handle the Ships of capacity upto1,00,000 DWT.


  • Container Terminal at Mundra for Adani Port

    Container Terminal having quay length of 632m and width of 30m with draft of 17.5m forhandling extra large container ships. Deck structure supported on bored cast in-situ piles,Superstructure of RCC with concrete decking. The berthing structure is based on earth retainingstructure of diaphragm wall duly held in position with anchor wall with interconnecting tie rods.

  • Container Terminal for P&O Ports at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust – Mumbai

    Berth structure 300m long & 40m wide to accommodate up to 85000 DWT vessels. The workinvolved rock bund approach & reclamation engineering works.


  • Development of Iron Ore Terminals at Ennore Port, Chennai

    Design and construction of Iron Ore – Berth 271m long & 24.5m wide, approach Jetty 130m long and9m wide, back up area of 13.5 hectares, Iron ore stock yard, stacker foundation and wagon tipplerhouse, associated cut and cover tunnels with utility buildings and road work.

  • Project Sea Bird – Karwar

    Shiplift Facility Civil works package consisting of shiplift piers, ship berthing wharves,ship transfer bays on rail tracks, tunnels for services with control building, shiplift support building anda Seawater pump house with associated Civil, Mechanical & Electrical works.

  • Development of Multipurpose Terminal by Replacement of Existing EQ2 to EQ5- Visakhapatnam.

    EPC work for Development of 550m Berthing Structure with Diaphragm wall & Panel Pile configuration.
