The Company registered as a Public Company Limited on 24th March 1994 and was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on 9th August 1994 with an initial capital base of Baht 2 million.

One of the important projects executed by ITD is the construction of the Suvarnabhumi International Airport, ITD has executed construction of Suvarnabhumi International Airport, one of the best in the world approximately 25 km east of Bangkok. The project had been continually under the development process for quite some time and ITD successfully completed it in 2006.

The Company has achieved an excellent performance with high quality work for private clients and government authorities. The Company’s high standard of construction quality has been recognized by the Company being awarded ISO-9001:the standard for the Quality Management Systems including design, installation, and servicing, ISO-14001: the standard for the Environmental Management Systems and TIS 18001: the standard for the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

For several years up to now, ITD has successfully completed the construction of many mass transit projects, firstly the 23.5 km Bangkok Transit System (BTS). After that, ITD in joint venture with two japanese companies completed the construction of the 10.5 km northern part of underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project which was about half the length of the whole project. The contract comprised construction of 10.5 km long, 5.7 m diameter, twin tunnels, 9 underground stations, and associate buildings (car parks, etc.). Other projects recently completed by ITD are the double-track railways from Huamark to Chachoengsao and from Bann Pachi to Lopburi, the Baan Uea Arthorn (low-cost housing) projects of the National Housing Authority, the tunnel for the underground high-voltage transmission line between Ladprao and Vibhavadi substations of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, the Mae Moh Lignite Mining project, the Rama V Bridge, and the High-speed Railway project in Taiwan (a 27.3 km section).

Geographic spread includes Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Madagascar, Mozambique and Taiwan other than India providing ITD Cem with international exposure.ITD provides its Indian subsidiary with access to its technologies and know-how as well skilled personnel.
